Our Coven is Claudia is a fanzine dedicated to paying tribute to the vampire Claudia from Interview with the Vampire.

About

Claudia, the brightest spark, ignited a perpetual light within us. In commemoration of the hauntingly beautiful vampiress, we aspire to honor her vampiric prowess, unwavering strength, endless wisdom, womanhood and overflowing love. Our belladonic beauty is more than just a woman eternally trapped in a young body, a long-gone memory, or a roof shingle that flew off the house at 1132 Rue Royale. She thinks, she loves, she dreams, she screams, she kills. Our Coven Is Claudia is a fan festival for art and writing that honors her passion, her rage, and her beauty that is so often ignored.Our Coven Is Claudia will take place over the course of one week, from June 23rd through June 29th, with one Claudia-centric prompt for each day. Although the prompts are geared towards inspiring art and writing, we also welcome edits/videos, collages, cosplay, or any other type of creative fan work. You can choose to participate in just one day, all seven, or anywhere in between. When the festival arrives, you can share your work by posting to the tag #OurCovenIsClaudia on Twitter or #our coven is claudia on Tumblr, or to our collection on AO3. June may seem far away, but we encourage participants to get started on their piece(s) early so that they have all the time they need to finish them. Our goal is simply to have fun while celebrating our favorite vampire and her many talented fans!

Rules

⋆ Claudia must be at the center of each story or visual piece. Other characters can be featured, but she must be the main focus.
⋆ This event is focused on Claudia as portrayed by Bailey Bass and Delainey Hayles in the AMC TV show, but other versions of the character are allowed.
⋆ No use of generative AI is allowed.
⋆ Claudia’s story is a heavy one, so please include proper content warnings for all sensitive topics.
⋆ Be aware that we do not accept any romanticized depictions of abuse, rape, incest, pedophilia, nor the fetishization and sexualization of Claudia’s young body. However, sensitive and respectful portrayals of Claudia’s trauma are allowed as they are a significant part of her character and story. Please use your best judgement and be kind.
⋆ Explicit content involving Claudia is allowed ONLY IF she is portrayed in an adult body and it follows the previous rules.
